It’s a wonderful vest. Is this when RRL used real down instead of a down alternative?
Yes. It’s real down. I also have a 2016 jacket and it’s the same. My jacket from winter 2020 (copy of kora koram) is made with the alternative material (recycled-shell)

Speaking of down vests, Back Country has a couple Rocky Mountain Featherbed down vests for a pretty good price of $300.
There are also some jackets.

Sizing warning though. The measurement chart sizes aren't anywhere close to actual garment size. For example the chart lists chest measurement of 54 for size 48. The 48 is in fact 48 pit to pit. Also, the interior color of the navy one is actually light blue.

Out of curiosity for all you RRL fans here. Similar to what RAF Simons did for his Redux collection, would you want to see Ralph come out with a special collection where he digs into the archives and brings out old RRL designs for a “capsule?”

I feel that RRL has seen what’s been selling and just making variations of it for the past few seasons and I tend to look back at the 2010-2014 seasons and those had great items. The bombers were cool, denim jackets were unique, wool pieces, nice canvas outerwear etc. now…it seems a bit redundant? Still great items I’ll buy, but curious what some veterans here have to say.

Just bought it yesterday. Yes, it's a perfect everyday shirt. It match perfectly with any jeans or shorts. Love this kind of fabric. Pic with past seasons RRL stuff

That shirt looks great! Does it run TTS? I'm normally a medium but the specs online make it seem like it runs on the larger side. Which jeans are those? The whole look is fire.

Thank you 🙏. I usually wear M for shirts, pullovers and tees. And this shirt is a perfect M to me. So yes, TTS.
I don’t remember the name of those jeans. They are 16oz low straight « east-west » with the leather patch (not leather suede patch) from SS2017. One of my fav.

The first two shirts are from SS23, the third one is from S22.
They are very similar imo. Not sure if I should get the 2nd one because of how much it looks like the third one. I do like it though.

do you guys wear a belt with your jeans? just purchased the limited edition vintage 5 pocket and the waist is already giving a lot. can’t size down since i’m already a 28 so maybe i’ll take them in slightly idk. a belt seems to only add more weight and makes the waist look sloppy or maybe the belts are too heavy.
