Man, some serious fire in the LuxeSwap Thanksgiving drop. Looks like he got a bunch of Armoury and NMWA warehouse stuff. Lots of NWT Ring Jacket and such. NWT Coherence as well.

EDIT: looks like lots of NWT Armoury stuff went up last week as well. I haven't looked in ages.

According to the LS thread, I think the Armoury sold everything left over from their recent archive sale to LS. Good news for those of us who couldn’t make it to NYC

Looking at some stuff for my son. Held myself to one Amide Hadelin Fox Bros. tie and a Fujito l/s t-shirt from NMWA sale.

Was thinking about 20 Dec. Is Bethesda a bit out of the way for folks? Wrong end of the Red Line for anyone from up in the frozen tundra above Silver Spring.

Maybe some of the DC places mentioned earlier? Silver Spring, Union Market area, DC proper?

Thanks again to those who provided tux advice earlier! I went back to RL and Sid Mashburn this weekend and ended up going with the midnight navy peak-lapel tux (and bow tie) from the latter. The RL midnight navy tux was more on the navy end of the spectrum, so I felt like the Sid tux would be more timeless. I have an MTM appointment with Kamakura on the 19th, so I'll order the tux shirt through them.

What’s the consensus here gents? I thought that, from those that voiced an opinion, consensus was for Hip Flask.

Let’s get this locked in so I can start posting annoying reminder to drum up attendance.

I will be there regardless of location as long as metro accessible. Obviously my preference is downtown DC or on the eastern side of the red line but that's pure selfishness on my part.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
