I got that part. Was waiting for a “there I was in my small Midwestern college” story.
oh no. I’m just observant. It’s been a long time since I’ve been to either of those places. So things may have changed.

With the “kids” shopping in SoHo. Drake’s cashmere scarf (made in Kashmir by Indian artisans, mostly one of a kind) was $755.

I got one at Barneys New York ages ago for $200 on sale. Still my fav scarf but the current prices are insane.

Okay, this concludes my Public Service announcements in luxury goods pricing!.
I remember I wanted to buy a necktie from kiton at begdorf one time. I found a cashmere one I liked. But it was 500 (if I recall correctly). I decided I didn’t like it that much!!

Pretty amazing (and wildly expensive) dinner at Pineapples & Pearls last night. The cocktails may have been the best part but all the food was excellent.
