lol. In fairness, a 10 minute Uber ride could cost 20 bucks though.

Most people in DC don’t leave a 15-20 minute walking radius, around either their home or office.

Cathedral Heights seems a lot further away from many parts of the city than it actually is.

Anyways, more 2 Amy's chat, the pizza is fine. It's all of the not-pizza that makes it outstanding and the go to restaurant for everybody that works in restaurants in this city.

And for the Adam's Morgan bound, their new spot, Bar del Monte, will be opening in Mt. Pleasant in early March.

Also seconding Green Almond Pantry being fantastic. It is unfortunately a bit hidden away in Grace Street Market in Georgetown, but the food is wonderful and the chef/owner Cagla is a gem of a human being.

For New Haven-style, Comet Ping Pong is so good. Tonari has Japanese deep dish style pizza that's hard to describe but it's amazing.

I've never been to 2Amys because it is so far out of the way from where I live with no car (Adams Morgan). Any thoughts on how Pizzeria Paradiso (much closer to me) compares?

I second both the suggestion to try Etta and the rec of pulatella beijg better than paradise. I‘d also try Lupo Verde which is close to AdMo
