Do you recommend any particular exercise clothing brands? I’ve heard of some that are incorporating merino wool.
I use Tracksmith. It's running gear but I use it for cycling and general fitness as well. I do have a merino bathing suit I like, though.

What are prices like?
This is from the Hemrajani thread.
Yes, $1800 for multiple basted fitting bespoke and $2500 for the most expensive Scabal super 200s. I love my suits and I also have bespoke from Cifonelli. Liverano, A. Caraceni, and Solito. I always find myself coming back to Davij. Quality at that price point is unmatched.
Tbh I don't know how they can afford to do bespoke at that price.

Lower cost of labor. There are some Savile Row firms that have their garments made in India to keep the cost around the $1800 to $2500 price point. Just think the tailors in the UK probably want to be paid and live the current lifestyle you are living. How much is your hourly rate? Take that and times it by 70 hours and you have the price of a Savile Row suit made in the UK. I cant speak for the hourly rate of a garment made in India or China. But I'm sure the cost of living is a lot cheaper.

I'm definitely aware that poorer countries have lower wages so the final product is cheaper. Just didn't realize the bespoke process could be transferred to India, China, etc for a customer in the US in a cost-effective way in the same way that MTM can.

So maybe fair to say they're doing bespoke roughly at cost and making their profit off shirts?

lol I usually stop analyzing how someone came up with their price and let the product speak for itself. They make nice stuff at a fair and reasonable price.

If you are looking to finance someone's brunching habits I know a thread that can help you with that. --> (Nas: You wanna ball till you fall? I can help you with that... ;))
