Yeah my pops went from an 8.5EEEE to a 9EE/EEE, it worked out though as he changed to sneakers full time anyways in his retirement. Lots of weightlifting can do that to ya too, buddy who's in his 20s went from a 9.5C to a 10B. Arch collapse really changes the way boots fit. Sorry you've gotta shuffle the collection, I'm weary of the day when I've got to do the same.

I actually went to the podiatrist today, too. First visit. He asked if I rotate my shoes. I said, “Brother, you have no idea!”

Sorry to hear this, dog :(

Sucks to hear that. My condolences.

Feet change with time and use, no doubt. My case is happier. Two and a half years of Covid-related home office and intensive Skechers and slipper use during that time, pretty much cured all my foot ailments. When we started back to the office in April this year, I threw away all my old "confy" non-GYW shoes and started from scratch. I'm now up to ten new pairs of GYW shoes and boots and two pairs of welted sneakers and my wife thinks I either have gone mad or have a mistress with a shoe fetish. :p

Wow. Didn't you just finish going through your collection and rebuying in the "right" size not that long ago?

Sorry to hear you'll have to move on from your favorite pumpkins and other Indys.

yes I did just go through and it seems have to do it again, I'm to the point where I will keep those which I love and just sell the rest at a serious discount

Which lasts still work for you? I know you'll be limited, but are there any that are completely pain/stress free?

Well, footwear has, due to early in life injuries, never been 100% pain/stress free, even athletic shoes. Aberdeen and 379 seem to be about best right now. I'm almost giving up :(

First day back in the office after being on sick leave for a week with COVID. Glad it's mostly over. I have some lingering congestion, but the fevers went away on Saturday, after which I've felt much better. Figured I'd wear something classic and comfortable today even though I'm sitting in my office with the door closed all day. If I venture out into public spaces I have to put on an N95 mask at least through the rest of this week. These boots make me feel a lot faster than my others on commando.

Finally finally done sunfading these color 8 venice boots. Don't mind the quirky Viberg wingtip shoes on the right, did an IG post for my only 2 medallion toes.
