I've been out of the Alden game for a couple of years and now I have a bit of an itch that needs scratching.

Has the "rare" shell availability gotten any better? Specifically Whiskey. Im not too concerned about the style of shoe. I still need a Whiskey pair to complete my (beginner) shell Rainbow.

Worse but I would call the different stores and ask if they have any. If you have a large size (i.e. 11.5) you might get lucky. Good to see you back here BC!

Because I had not seen any of them, I asked if the 6 eyelet chukka was a rarity, Adam replied: "The factory is discontinuing production of the six eyelet chukka indefinitely, because some of the old equipment used to make that design has broken." "Alden won’t be making that style for the foreseeable future."

So @peppercorn78 you might want to email Adam as he does have more sizes in stock.

Wow, that's unexpected, and a shame. A whole bunch six eyelet makeups came out of seemingly nowhere this past year, they were starting to have a moment.
