Mike - these looked good on Wednesday but they look great today. Almost hard to believe it's the same shoe. Very nice work and congrats on a great pickup.

Thanks. HaHa. Yeah. The laces are a little over the top. Fortunately the pants I wore today are long and need to be shortened. So they cover d them up nicely.

Color 8 from Alden these days is so dark, I'd call it "Navy 8." I wonder, is there any hope of it lightening up to a nice eggplant hue with some wear?

Thanks! These were purchased to replace an aging pair that, despite my love for them, had seen better days after years of holiday festivity ...over-revelry, if you will.

I'm really impressed with Land's End value for what amounts to very short money, and I'll bet the EPs will rock - especially if they're from that MTO program.
