Last night I collected my shoes from various places--the office, mudroom, work bag. I kind of shocked myself when I counted and realized I have 18 pairs of Aldens. Last time I actually counted it was 11. Oops!

Breaking out the unlined and placing lined in bags until Fall. BB #8. These are 4 - 5 years old now. They get a lot of wears in the Summer then get put away...

FYI to dozen or so folks on it, but the Context color 8 tanker preorder from March 2015 is in!

Their price is higher at $835, but no shipping or tax to NY, so ultimately come out on top compared to Leffot's $790.

Is Also my first pair of cordovan shoes and they are difficult to break , but even the wrinkle is nice

Excellent. These have aged very well - a nice reddish whiskey. I would guess they are 5+ old years based on the color.

Can you guys help me understand lined and unlined? Are my Alden Epaulet Innsbruck Michigan boots lined?

I'm kind of concerned with sweating in them more then scuffing.. I'm going to wear them for work. I go on to construction sites to inspect, luckily they have a gen III commando sole. Should I change boots mid day to my 1000 miles?

They're lined. Wear them all day. Enjoy them. Let them rest a day or two with shoe trees. Wear them again.
