You never know what?

Those are Whiskey PTBs for 14oz, you can see it written on the heel pad. Several European vendors run Whiskey PTBs and/or LWBs, including 14 oz. They just included the aldenmadison username mention because Alden doesn't have an Instagram of itsown.

I'm aware. I'm coyly saying that those interested in a whiskey PTB should consider reaching out to 14oz and seeing if they have their size...

Pix:

With the Snuff belt from Epaulet

The finished areas of the welt look great - the pix are harsher than the reality...

Apologies for the soul-less office environment - better shots at some point...

Awesome. Mine are due in tomorrow and I can't wait! I held off on the belt until i know for sure my sizing is correct. Well done, sir.

Got it. Yeah, always worth a shot. I've had terrible luck with 14 oz. They never respond to any of my emails. They carry a mix of E and D widths, but usually only one width per style, so this may be an all-E or all-D run.

One of my top grails arrived a few days ago, courtesy of a friend. Ravello NST boot x TSM on Aberdeen, from the early 2015 run. The shade of Ravello on these is phenomenal.

PSA: $200 off $500 at Brooks Brothers with code BCSP15. I picked up the tan suede PTB I've been wanting for at least a year.
