For those attending, whose aesthetic appreciation extends beyond the Sartorial-
most of us, I would guess, I recommend visiting the current exhibit at the
Museum of the Legion of Honor, San Francisco
The Cult of Beauty- The Victorian Avant Garde 1860-1900
Legion of Honor Museum, San Francisco.
The Pre-Raphaelites through Art Nouveau: Fine Art , Design,
Furnishings,. Fashion, Architecture.

Guys, great job on getting Wood Thumb from San Francisco to agree to providing the official necktie for this event. It's a real coup d'état.

Honestly though, we don't do dress codes and official ties. I mean, I suppose it's okay if other forums and clubs do it. But I think that going to Catholic school cured me of the need for clubby uniforms.

Wait, are you saying that I don't need to wear my official SF tie from Carlo Franco???

You really should have contacted Attolini for a group rate on pink cashmere.

This will probably be the best Collection of Sartorial Excellence (CSE) in a number of years.

The best one is that one that took place in Switzerland. They say that so much Zimmerli has never been seen in one place at one time.

To add to the list of vendors:

Revolver SF, for all you crossposters. Louis Walton - neckwear from a guy who has a great story and is learning from April on Paris right now, Jimmie Au's (tailoring for short guys), Sette Neckwear (sevenfold ties), and Goorin will be bringing a lot of their heritage collection.
