Some of these posts remind me of the digging I used to do at AAAC. I miss when that forum was lively. I loved seeing well done suits on people that were definitely far from the norm.

If you mean the one I posted, it’s from 2017 and I think 3”, but have started drifting wider, particularly on peak. I don’t love super wide notch though. Nice Neapolitan shoulder, but not super long, just high button stance and camera angle give the appearance. Customer is 5’9” or so...

I think one mistake made by some people just getting into MTM is focusing on the numerical measurement of the lapel width as opposed to its proportion to the rest of the body. I've now settled on a notch lapel width of 3.5", which extends just over halfway between my shirt collar and shoulder line (I'm 5'6" with a roughly 17" shoulder width). I think that fits my smaller frame well while anything larger would just dwarf me (but I'll probably go .5-1" wider if I ever get a DB made).

That's a very nice fabric. Sleeves maybe need to come up a bit?

Thanks. My right shirt sleeve is hanging on my watch a bit but I might move the sleeves up for future jackets.

@EzraPaul that green Ariston donegal is what led me to this. I'm already way too deep in green jackets but I think that cloth is just outstanding.
