Thanks! This is my most recent from Flanigan Clothing, a smallish MTM tailor that has made most of my tailoring at this point.

Where is Flanagan?

Here’s my Canali MTM suit.

- Solid navy
- Peak lapel
- Higher rise
- 15000 Model which has a very soft shoulder.
- Added an inch to length from base model.

Overall happy with it.

Canali MTM adds features not typically available through OTR, such as an after-dinner split.

Didn't you order a MtM from Samuelsohn to mimic phineas cole as well, how did that turn out?

I am toying with Canali MTM for a summer suit, any general recommendations from this/prior Canali orders ?

Didn't you order a MtM from Samuelsohn to mimic phineas cole as well, how did that turn out?

Turned out well! Samuelsohn lets you add a lot of customization of their base models. For example, you can widen the lapel, lower the buttoning point, etc…

Familiarize your self with the various models. Also, you can mix models between the jacket and trousers.

For example, the jacket above is based on their 15000 model, but the accompanying trouser is very very slim. So I had the trouser made in their 13000 model, which has regular/trim proportions.

I got mine in Canada, so the pricing would be different in the UK (potentially cheaper).

Based in Cincinnati, but moving closer to me shortly--which may make intentionality and restraint difficult to exercise.

Just got notified my navy Ring Jacket Balloon cloth sport coat arrived in NY today. Sleeves need finished, then it will be shipped out.

Was originally scheduled for July delivery, so I’m pretty excited.

Very nice..how much does Canali MTM come down to recently as their RTW is quite pricey here in the UK?

I just know their EU pricing, appr 30% upcharge on RTW - like with all others, the cloth quality dictates the price, this spring I've been quoted 1650 for a basic one and 3k for a Solaro (ikik Smiths original etc., don't @ me)

I'm a little perplexed at why there's this weird crease when I move in certain ways when the suit is buttoned-see photo 2

do you mean the creasing of the lapel in the second photo ?
