I don't like initialled luggage -- but I'm always curious, do people actually USE their Louis/Goyard/Hermes/whatever luggage? Most of it is so ostentatious as to surely attract thieves and vandals the way dung draws flies ....
I have a matched set of luggage by Hermes -- in plain old English tan leather -- and I use it. Of course each piece was delivered with a protective cover ... a bit like a tea cozy for a suitcase. I never use the luggage when flying commercially ... only when moving about via a private mode of transportation.

Personally, I don't mind girls carrying LV bags, at least in a college setting. My judgement may be clouded, as all the hot Jewish sorority girls on campus seem to be carrying either LV or the Longchamp bags.
