Does anyone know how long the whole process takes? I signed up on the 13th, and at the time there wasn't any notebooks being sent to my area, now there's one that was shipped on the 14th.

Well, it definitely wasn't delivered to my parents house... I think they still have a quite a few more shipments to go through.

lol my brother has been wanting to get one to download textbooks on. I tell him for 3 months that a kindle is better suited for reading. Yesterday he bought an ipad. I hope he goes blind.

Put the iPad in a Blendtec blender. Then sprinkle the iPad dust into his eyes when he sleeps.

Nope. No internet = no computing.

Anyway I don't really want Google etc. giving undesirable third-parties, advertisers and government agencies access to my confidential and private data.

So, more or less the way things were in 1980, but with a better user interface...

I appreciate the explanation, though -- I was wondering too.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
