went through this whole thread, realized that this thread completely justifys the prices of baller shoes. The closest I could find was Keds Pro Hi which I got; supras were too chunky, Kr3ws design resembled boots too much, diesels were overdesigned, wesc were ugly, and converse i robots had an ugly converse patch on it.

those will serve you well. I wore the crap out of mine last summer and they're still alive and kicking. I have the GAT look-a-likes, though. I believe there's still some left in size 12, for around $60 on yoox.

Just a bit more information on these SUS GATs (see above) - they look so, so much better in person. A really nice 'off-white' colour and a very slightly 'lived-in' look. Totally vouching for these - great value on Yoox for £50. The company is 'esse ut esse'. I think they are out of most sizes at the moment, but upon a restock I fully recommend picking up a pair.

I got mine from a Japan store. They don't ship internationally but they shipped my order to the Tenso.com wherehouse. After they verify its allowed to import them, they'll ship them by EMS to my address in the States.

I don't think you could get much more inoffensive. Will say this, though: I'm looking to go canvas for my next all-white sneaker...I am sick of keeping my all-white Superstars spotless, and they look pretty terrible when they're grungy. I'd imagine these would have a similar problem.

The Vans Limonta are Japan-only. Can be ordered from the ABC Mart Store on Rakuten through their Tenso.com forwarding service. You must have a Japanese address to acquire them before they can be shipped to the States.
