I noticed there is no thread dedicated to Bryceland's yet. I especially appreciate how they combine traditional materials and cuts, while often finding a unique balance of formal and casual.

Definitely deserving their own appreciation thread! I have a few pieces and I’m very happy with all of them.

Besides London and Hong Kong, are there any other stores that carry their products around the world?

They also have a store in Tokyo, and I'm pretty sure The Anthology carries a bunch of their products. In the US you also have Standard & Strange and a few others.

^ Standard and Strange has some stock.

Brogue in Bay Area also carried before but doesn’t look like there’s anything now so not sure if dropped or just waiting shipment.

I saw some retailers in Asia that carried them as well in the past but pricing wasn’t favorable (as in pretty much same as web store or may even higher) so I never kept track of them.

If you are looking specifically for, say, that denim western shirt above then you can google and in addition to Standard and Strange and Buck Mason (collab) you get Vangelis and Second Sunrise, a couple of Swedish retailers.

Speaking of which, the denim shirt is lovely looking. Their commitment to a S shape curve in the collar is one of those small details which makes a major difference. Every denim western should have that detail, like old RRL.

My gripe is their insistence on putting a sawtooth pocket flap design year after year after year. I mean, shake, it up a little man. There are three denim western pocket flaps I know of: the triangular single snap button (most common), the slant pocket (one of the coolest - think Flathead or old Levis shrthorn or longhorn) and the sawtooth (in my opinion, the least attractive). And Bryceland's LOVES that sawtooth flap.

Does anyone have any experience with their chinos (either cotton or corduroy)? Are they true to the website measurements? Looking for something like their wider silhouette in corduroy. Recently purchased one of their RAF sweaters and loving the proportions on it.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
