I'm already struggeling to wear a violet/purple dress shirt, let alone a shoe! That's daring.

I will stay happily at the brown/black/no.8 shell camp and let someone else rock this one.

Purple is a great colour that works with bone trousers or navy trousers with a certain well chosen sportscoat. It could also work well casually with jeans or other combinations. I've got two pairs of purple shoes and the effect is very dandyish, but not a good look with suits. The only problem with navy or purple or green shoes is that the look can't be repeated too often; it is an occasional shoe. Brown shoes (or black) should always be the mainstay. That being said, l may even wear my purple shoes today, it's been about a year since l wore them last time, might even do navy this week too, but only when the sun is shining brightly and warmly would such pairs come out.
Loafer in lama by Perticone. Really loving this leather.
