Have any reserve collection shoes arrived at the shoe bank yet? I haven’t visited or called lately. I’d imagine, or at least I’d like to think, that with higher standards for production quality some will not pass final inspection.

Dainite laughing at me for my sole choice today. Or was it the combo of laceless HMs and joggers?

Hope everyone is staying warm - and wearing lugs in snow/ice.

That's a very interesting question. Would a dearth of seconds imply higher standards in the first place, or would the opposite better support the idea of rigorous reviewing?

And in theory if any do make it to the 'Bank, they'd likely be of relatively higher quality / production standards than a normal second......meaning one could potentially score a very high qual shoe for a good discount.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
