Dark brown snuff suede Freeport boots in full sun this morning. Some day, these will all be gone. Only then will I stop ringing the bell for these. Less than $150 at the ShoeBank.

I'll need to check them out.
I am going to give you guys the benefit of the doubt that this is some sort of sartorial exchange. My wife? Not so much.

Scored a circa 1997 pair of MacNeils in Burgundy polished cobbler. Cleaned up rather nice notwithstanding the typical cracks on the vamp. Original soles and heels, or so they appear, with good life left. Took a chance as they were a half size large and a width smaller than my normal. Fit just fine! I could hate on the PC, but for $42 delivered, I really don’t care. Someday when AE and Indiana Jones find the Great Lost MacNeil Plates and decide they can waste some shell, I’ll get a real pair of burgundy, then these can be stripped and refinished. For being 27ish years old, they look pretty good!

What I've been wearing the last couple of days and a new-to-me pair.

Snuff Strandmoks.

Yesterday I wore blue Cronmoks while I waited for a pair of NOS Cronmoks to arrive.

These are the OG tan Cronmoks with butter soft leather. This is a pair of seconds, but I don't see any glaring problems with them. They came with a pair of blue and a pair of tan 39” laces.

The top half of these were falling over because of the unstructured and unlined design, so I gave them some boot trees to help keep the shaft straight.

Was wearing blue linen pants, the temperature is still in the 70s here, so I kept the blue laces on and laced the shoes for a quick fit check.

These feel like they were made specifically for my feet. The soft unlined leather feels amazing. After wearing the much stiffer Cronmoks, the difference was like night and day.

Swapped the blue laces out for some burgundy laces and decided to wear them again today. I should probably go back to the previous lacing style for the next wear. It's a habit to do bar lacing on closed lacing styles.

I'm not entirely sure what kind of conditioner to use on these. I used some Bick-4 and wow were these shoes thirsty. After using StyleForum's search function, I saw a lot of people talking about using VSC, neatsfoot oil, and Renovateur. Tempted to use something to darken just the wing, heel and broguing.

Thanks man. What size are you?
I'm usually a 10D. If those beautiful Mac 5s don't fit you, I'd be willing to buy them off you and attempt to stretch them. However, I sincerely hope they fit you. We need pics of those rare beuts!

Once again, outstanding presentation.
Thank you!
