Just moved out to the area (Mountain View) and I need some alterations done on a couple jackets. Any recommendations?

Also, is it possible to have baggy pleated pants be altered/remade to look better? I bought a nice suit for really cheap and the jacket looks/fits real good but the pants make me look about 4 inches shorter...

Thanks for any help.

I lived in the Bay Area 6 years ago and back then a salesman at Wilkes Bashford recommended Jon Minor who was a little west of Union Square. He altered a sportcoat for me. I had to be a little firm to get him to do some things but overall I was happy.

Also, make sure to check out Jeremy's in SOMA if you're looking for bargains.

Ricardo's Tailoring in Sunnyvale works for me - he does good work. He managed to rescue some custom trousers I had tailored for me in a foreign clime - they were too baggy, and he took them in quite successfully.
