Summer outdoor pool party—what to wear with blue striped cotton trousers?

Greetings. I have been invited to an outdoor pool party in the early evening for a corporate event, and the invitation just says “dressy casual.” Since some of my clients will be there I am not keen on shorts and tee shirts. I have an excellent pair of blue/white striped pants as depicted in the attached photos. Any suggestions for livening it up with footwear and a great shirt? It’s an “pool party” and my guess is more than one guy will be walking around with Tommy Bahama shorts and hairy legs, but I need to be “dressy casual.” Still I am considering some black drivers or black loafers, no socks. Any suggestions welcome, and thank you for your recommendations.

Loafers should be fine, but definitely not in black. Medium brown or burgundy. Or maybe a pair of white bucks sans socks.
