Hi first time poster - looking for some feedback on the fit of this suit (shoulders, tightness/looseness, jacket length, etc.). Any thoughts on alterations that might be needed? Much appreciated! thanks

Thank you. I only have this attached photo with shoes on for now. I'll upload pictures with jacket buttoned, shoes on, and wearing a shirt on Tuesday (both front and back). Thanks!

Haven’t been able to go back yet — will go on weekend.

Another rookie question if anyone has thoughts — for a more formal look, would a white shirt, brown tie, chocolate lace-ups work well with this? Or anyone have any other suggestions? Much appreciated.

Thanks!

you could also do a light blue shirt and a dark burgundy grenadine tie. darker oxfords or bluchers would definitely complete a more formal look for that suit.

Overall that looks quite nice and you'll look better than most people in the wild with that suit. However, I feel like the shoulders might be slightly too wide? And as another commenter mentioned the sleeves are slightly too long. Have you tried one size smaller in the jacket? The pants look pretty good.

Some more pictures. Thanks so far for the feedback everyone — I’ll ask about the shoulders and the sleeves.

Do the burgundy shoes go okay (or better to go more chocolate brown)? And would off-white shirts go better than white (but will also try light blue as recommended above!).

Thanks!

Any other thoughts? I also need a tux so will go with slightly shorter sleeves, slightly narrower shoulders, and slightly longer jacket for that.

Should I also go tighter in the chest area? And a wider lapel?

Thanks!

Jacket just a touch too short. Trousers too slim. If you're going with them, I would go for no break. Trousers could also be higher waisted. I'd keep shoes around mid brown.
