suggestions for straight hair?

Does anyone here have any ideas about what to do with longish straight hair? I'm talking about the kind that will hang straight down your forehead unless you do something with it. One obvious solution is just to keep it short so it doesn't get in the way, but I've been doing that most of my life and am thinking about trying something different. Just don't know exactly what.

I have thinning straight hair, so I just keep it short.

But if you have thicker hair I would suggest you look at Japanese men's styles. They tend to have straight hair, so they should have quite a few styles to choose from.
