I didn't understand the allure of suede until this thread. Finally picked up my first pair: Vass mid brown. Pics in direct sun and shade. I sprayed with nano. How often should I reapply?

Congrats! Nice decision on first pair of suedes. It depends on how often you wear them, but I re-apply about once a month.

Make sure to get the other necessary tools - hanger project is a good spot.

Thank you. I plan on wearing these 1-2x per week. Does re-application once a month sound right for that wear frequency?

I'll check out hanger project's suede stuff too. Appreciate the tips!

Since everyone's posting their nice shoes I thought it's time I post my cheapo new shoes, Loake Skipton for 50 pounds on ebay new wheeeee.

On this note, this is the first time I've tried to go sockless and it feels a bit loose. Do people... go a size down for when they have shoes they plan wearing in summer without socks...? I actually blistered my ankle and side of toe a lot.

I size down half a size on any shoes that don't require laces.

Ughhh, I guess it's too late for me now. I guess I can still wear these with socks, I kind of prefer socks anyway, sockless doesn't actually feel more comfortable to me.

wear invisible socks, don't actually go sockless. saves your shoes, but still gives you that sockless look.
