Land's End Suede Buck.
Bought on sale for $50 in 2012 or so.

Not some vanity shoe that is worn once a month and photographed for then worn.
Finally retiring this shoe that lasted 9 years of daily wear. DAILY.
Easily my most workhorse shoes I have ever owned.

The suede is the least worn part of the shoe. Just a burn mark from when I was pushing a firepit with my feet. The neck opening is the most worn and frayed. I would say suede ages way better than regular leather, which gets easily creased and scuffed.

I've replaced the laces 3 times, I think
The toe started to separate from the rubber sole a few months ago, and now its done.

Gladly, back in 2013, I bought a spare $50 pair that I've been saving.

Actually, I just Gorilla glued the separation and it seems to work!
Here is to another 8 years !

I would like to see your worn pair, not a product shot of their replacement. ;)

A nice loafer from Sanders (is named Isaac), I decided to pull the trigger because I need something less formal and airier than my usuall heavy LWB and wholecut bluchers. Maybe a tad wide in the heel but heel slip is usual when heavy soled loafers are new.

Mr. John Rushton made some nice comments about this shoe, let me share this nice video: https://putthison.com/check-out-this-wonderful-video-about-john-rushton/
