I make an opening bid of retail and it scares people off after a tie went for almost 2x retail. I guess all of you hate charity and love ALS.
I just don't really buy RTW shoes anymore unless they're sneakers or something like that.

Sounds a lot like a guy who made a bid hoping he wouldn’t win…I know that feeling and it’s no fun.

I'm happy to win - I could use a new pair. I just am surprised that I'm going to take it for retail. These charity items generally go for more than retail.

Auction 5: You slept on it, now you have a chance to actually sleep on it - a second alpaca/wool gaucho blanket from Epaulet

Let's start the bidding... now. This auction will end on 12/17

Epaulet knocked it out of the park with these blankets, so they've generously donated another one (valued at $275) for those that are getting late to this auction.

There are four colorways, all inspired by the South American Gaucho horsemen of the 19th century and ethically produced in Peru by a Fair Trade and WRAP (Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production) certified facility, so you can feel great about gifting one of these (or just as great about keeping it for yourself once you feel how warm it is).

Here are the earlier pics of each colorway, beautifully modeled by this pup. These are no longer up on the Epaulet site as far as I can tell, so let's hope you're a dog person!

We will start the bidding at 1/2 of the retail of this package, or $138. The bidding will go by increments of $25.

Please bid generously and often! As with all of these auctions, everything will be going to support a long-time Styleforum member who has ALS.
