Just got the navy peacoat in today. Tried it on - but don't have any good non-selfie pictures to post yet. Initial thoughts:

- heavy. feels heavier than my polo coat from last year
- fits TRIM. very trim. order your sportcoat size in this if you *don't* plan to wear a sportcoat or a chunky sweater underneath
- collar is awesome. perfect collar. stands up nice and tall. doesn't fold over
- fabric is nice and toasty; very even colour and smoothness throughout
- chest pockets are at a good height
- looks great buttoned and unbuttoned; collar up or down

Overall. Very nice. I will very likely exchange this and go up a size. I ordered a 40 Contemporary as that's the size I ordered in last year's polo coat. I'm a 42R in S&M sportcoats/suits. I do not wear the polo coat over suits and never intended to; but it's roomy enough for a chunky sweater underneath.

The peacoat is not like the polo coat in sizing. If you plan to wear a sportcoat underneath, size up. Order the same size as your sportcoat if you want something to go over a thin merino sweater or shirt.
Nice review. How is the length? cover the fanny?

Full coverage. There's a model wearing the peacoat on the website (Navy only) if you want to see what the length looks like.

Just got two pairs of dress trousers in and they fit just how I wanted them. Getting them hemmed in the coming days so I can break em out soon. Also got two shirts in -- here's hoping they don't shrink too much. Next purchase: sweaters.

I just got this one too. Really soft fabric with high silk content, which is pretty neat. It’s a matte, almost flannel look though, so don’t fear there being any hint of sheen with the silk. Color is more mid blue than it appears on the website, so if you’re expecting a deep navy, this isn’t it. Tons of character with the white and light blue donegal-like slubs and a great casual winter sport coat.

adding a photo of it next to this year’s neo navy hopsack for color reference.

@spiermackay Do you guys have any live photos of the new Blue Birdseye (pre-order) suit? I would love to see the mix of blue/gray of this suit in person. Thanks!
