@spiermackay When buying a suit, is it possible to swap pants for a smaller size? For example, I believe that I need a size 40 jacket but would want to pair that with 32 pants.

Yes. Ask for the size you need in the notes at checkout. If it's available as a separate they will make the change. If it's not available shipping will contact you.

Sorry. Just OTR.

No need to apologise. It's like Mitch Hedbergs's bit about the dry cleaners:

"I walked by a dry cleaner at 3 am, and there was a sign: 'Sorry, we're closed' You don't have to be sorry, it's 3 am, and you're a dry cleaner! It would be ridiculous for me to expect you to be open! I'm not gonna walk in at 10 am and say "I walked by here at 3 and you were closed - somebody owes me an apology!'"

I'm Canadian remember. It's a reaction.

Teal barleycorn polo overcoat

I have some close-ups of the fabric as well, but the file is too large for postimg. What host do you folks use for larger files?

The overcoat looks great. The suit jacket looks too short and a bit too slim for you IMO. You could have the sides let out and sleeves let out if you like that length. The shirtsleeves look way too long to me.

Thanks Rotbart! The vents are still stitched shut which definitely doesn't help. I agree with you about the jacket length; another inch or two would be great.

Sleeves are another consideration I'm not quite certain about. I think the shirt sleeves are too long (36 length). I like Alan Flusser's philosophy that the sleeves should be long enough to enable a full range of movement, but ensuring that the cuff is tight enough so it doesn't slide down over the hand. That said, I think there's too much cuff showing for both the SM Guabello suit jacket and my own Harris Tweed SC.

@spiermackay Does the MTM program allow for minor alterations such as adding an inch to the jacket length and half an inch to the sleeve length?
