Sure okay. There are places where this is built into the model either through volume (Indochino) or through gross, blatant overcharging (Proper Cloth—**** that company). Spier is not one of them, clearly.

Is the mechanical treatment common in the industry?

I couldn't find it on the FAQ but what's the return policy of MTO jackets?

Return only if garment is off tolerance specs or some other factory error.

I love cords, but $198 for MTO is more than I'm willing to spend.

I purchased the first round of merino v-necks and the Large ran tighter than expected. I'm trying to see if I should go for an XL.

Too lazy to dig up, but I think Rick responded that they are similar sizing for at least the styles that were offered in the past.

Believe this was addressed in the last 24 hours.

I'm in the 40L camp and have grabbed a L in past sweaters. Trying out the XL this year. I think L is good under a jacket for me and XL will be better casually ?

Does anyone know where I can look at Harris tweed swatches from the MTO program on a larger scale? Production is obviously less centralized than some of the other mill-specific fabrics. I'm trying to fire up a mega-thick, mega-casual tweedy sport coat for the winter. Taking fabric suggestions, but currently eyeing the brown/fawn Moon Donegal from a few years past.

I thought about the same thing last night. A cream colored shirt is a natural for a lot of the brown fabrics they have.
