@spiermackay

so I bought a 14.5 slim rinsed denim shirt from last year, and it did say it was shorter than the chart for length and sleeves.

after washing a few times, the sleeves have shrunk an inch, and now they're definitely too short on me and the cuffs are consequently tight.

was that just an error for that particular shirt, or would the same thing happen for the new denim shirts? I ask because I assumed garment washed meant the shrinkage was already completely accounted for.

I'm considering getting a slub jacket. Is the sizing true to size?

I have the burgundy slim - it fits roughly true to the measurements on the site, chest might be slightly smaller. Note that because of the soft and cool nature of the jacket you're unlikely to be wearing it over a midlayer or even buttoned up.

Rick, I apologize if I missed word on this but are there any long-sleeved polos in the pipeline? Dark green, navy, chocolate brown, white, and heather grey would all work well in my wardrobe. A hidden button-down with a stiff collar band would be a welcome bonus.

From a business perspective it seems like a safe bet too - previous polo buyers would have a high (re)purchase rate I'd assume.

Please give me some good news.

I was just coming here to ask this! Quoting for posterity.

I brought it up a year or two ago and the response was overwhelming. I have to assume something is in the works!

@spiermackay oh Rick, please look into the garment bags. First time I decided to use and the zipper broke after one use. I think it's not the first time this got mentioned here.
Honestly, I just bought a six-pack of garment bags off of Amazon. The zipper broke on all three of my Spier and Mackay garment bags. The ones off Amazon are much better.

They are. Very limited quantity of fabric. You can send an email request to S&M with your shirt measurements and options.
So could I mention something like "15 inch collar, body of a 14.5 slim, add +0.5 inch to waist and hips, +0.25 shoulders"?

I've never done this before
