I would like to get your opinions. I have this jacket being used as a blazer. Should I get a custom pair of trousers to match it and make it a suit or keep it as an odd jacket.

Could anyone tell me whether it's worth getting alterations done on this suit? I asked in the tailors' thread but no responses yet and I have to return it tomorrow if I'm going to. It's neo cut in 42L. I'm thinking I might need something more padded for the problems with the back.
Have you tried the non-neo suits? I think the neo cut jackets have slightly wider shoulders with a bit more room in the upper back. If you're worried about going down a full size, it might be worthy exchanging for one of the non-neo models to see if it fits cleaner in the upper back.

One assumes. None of interest for me, for better or worse. That linen blend (even with the dreaded patch pockets) would have been VERY intriguing in a navy/RAF blue

The two Drago ones with a subtle check, a line or two down from the ones you are looking at, look much more interesting. Any guesses as to what the fabric is? I'm not a huge fan of linen or WSL, but it'd be a no-brainer for me if tropical wool. The pinstripe DB that for me juuuuust now popped up in the previews is a no-brainer for wearing Miami Vice style, which I guess will leave all of 1 for the five other 46R guys on this page alone.

I can't find them on the website anymore, but I think this is the same fabric they offered from Drago last year in a wool/linen blend, it was offered in light gray and med-dark/dark blue. I have the one in light gray glen check and I like it. It doesn't wear quite as cool as pure linen or a fresco, and is wrinklier than a high twist fabric, but it's a nice suit for spring/summer.

I received the Clissold "Crispaire" and the Minnis Fresco Lite suits I ordered today and will try to put up some pictures of the Clissold tomorrow. I'll share my thoughts, but I think that Wilcthree will do a better review because I feel like I'm rather unsophisticated compared to y'all!

Any specific reasoning?
Not a dead giveaway from the photo, but the cloth looks rather slick.

That one does look intriguing. And, bloody hell, was super excited (and I don't love VBC tropical weight stuff) to see the grey high twist...but the gotdamn patch pockets!

As ever, I am just fascinated to know the thinking behind some of these styling choices. That one seems...not at all patchy? And then the DB (with the fairly beefy flap pockets + ticket pocket) seems a good candidate for the Milanese lapel treatment.

Alas.

Might just be a site glitch, but when I put the new chinos in my basket I’m not getting a hemming service option. :/
