One assumes. None of interest for me, for better or worse. That linen blend (even with the dreaded patch pockets) would have been VERY intriguing in a navy/RAF blueLooks to be light weight; 240-270g?
Any specific reasoning?Personally, I'd only wear that as a suit.
Have you tried the non-neo suits? I think the neo cut jackets have slightly wider shoulders with a bit more room in the upper back. If you're worried about going down a full size, it might be worthy exchanging for one of the non-neo models to see if it fits cleaner in the upper back.Could anyone tell me whether it's worth getting alterations done on this suit? I asked in the tailors' thread but no responses yet and I have to return it tomorrow if I'm going to. It's neo cut in 42L. I'm thinking I might need something more padded for the problems with the back.

The two Drago ones with a subtle check, a line or two down from the ones you are looking at, look much more interesting. Any guesses as to what the fabric is? I'm not a huge fan of linen or WSL, but it'd be a no-brainer for me if tropical wool. The pinstripe DB that for me juuuuust now popped up in the previews is a no-brainer for wearing Miami Vice style, which I guess will leave all of 1 for the five other 46R guys on this page alone.
Not a dead giveaway from the photo, but the cloth looks rather slick.Any specific reasoning?
That one does look intriguing. And, bloody hell, was super excited (and I don't love VBC tropical weight stuff) to see the grey high twist...but the gotdamn patch pockets! The two Drago ones with a subtle check, a line or two down from the ones you are looking at, look much more interesting. It does look like an orphaned suit jacket.Very helpful indeed. I think my piece is definitely skirting on the border of a suit jacket except for the pockets, buttons, and fabric twill weave. Perhaps this link from the MTO sport coat ordering provides additional detail. https://www.spierandmackay.com/Fabric/jacket

The rust check lapel does look a tad wide for a 38. Here’s a SS21 MTO on one of my friends who also wears 38R contemporary in RTW.
I think it's the Di Pray if I'm not mistaken. If so it's still available.@dapperclassic Is that fabric still available as an MTO?
