I’ve received both 16 and 15.5, and both sleeves are fine. For reference I usually wear a 34 sleeve length, and buttoned up it falls right where my palm meets my wrist. It’s a little bit long, but not annoyingly so, or so severe that I will get them shortened. I like the added length when the sleeves are rolled as a double fold doesn’t go too far up the arm.

Thanks for replying. I would be concerned with wearing the shirt by itself without a roll and having the sleeves bunch up. It looks sloppy to my eye. I wouldn't be too concerned if I were to wear a jacket over it.

OK. I've heard some horror stories about shortening sleeves on a shirt. As in avoid at all costs.
I shortened sleeves on my S&M shirts before they started selling them with sleeve lengths. I still wear both. You need to make sure your tailor shortens them from the shoulder, and doesn't go too short. I also recommend washing the shirt once. Maybe bring in another shirt that fits you well, and have your tailor measure it against that shirt.

I am probably the only person on this forum who never wore a quarter zip sweater. Until now.

I like it. Think I’ll try another.

Looks like the skirt on my polo coat is indeed too tight, and always has been.

Tailor says there's material to let out, which I found interesting.

Also going to get him to sew up the back pleat on the vent to get rid of the flair.
Following up on this, and it was mostly a success. Biggest benefit so far is no longer having pear ass from a side view.

He sewed up the vent's box pleat AND the vent, which may have been miscommunication.

In any case, no issues with movement, may be an issue when sitting down though.

Was perusing Riva’s past spats with Pick about some here being too scared to post in WAYWT on a conference call earlier, and literally laughed aloud at the inanity of the sentiment...then felt obligated to feed the troll and post here.
That said, I do enjoy R. For the good and the bad.

Wish I could wear linen right now, especially after getting a few linen shirts from S&M the past few weeks. Only place linen can be used year round for me is bed sheets, even in this current -20C Canadian Winter

Just wondering if anyone else has had some really weird/distinct fading on the denim shirts? I keep trying to convince myself that it’s just character but I don’t know.

I have had some fading on my denim shirts. It's like jeans - denim is going to fade. Embrace it. Enjoy it.

Yes, my non button-down collar version from last year faded like that after the first wash. It was excessive, but now I just rock it with my bolo tie. None of my others did that, though.

My denim shirt did fade after first wash, but not this much. However, every batch is different due to dye and washing machines are all different. Over time may fade more, nice thing about denim
