Opted to watch the Dortmund Malaga match. While I'm kinda bummed for Malaga, I'd rather see Dortmund go through.

Dortmund - Malaga was indeed amazing. 2 offsides, at least they offset eachother.

The better side went thru.

******* Ronaldo can't stop scoring. It looked routine, but the swing on the ball for his second goal was just sublime. Credit Galatassary, they made a 2nd leg of it.

Uproar throughout South America that UEFA was pitted against having 3 Spanish teams in the semis. Massive calls that last the questioned Dortmund goal should never have counted.

Why????

The Malaga goal was offside ..

This.

And why would S America care about UEFA, is there some racialist kinship going on here?

There were 3 english teams a few years ago. This smells like S American whining to me.

Ha, go Dortmund and Bayern!

Malaga's sheik owner called the result "racist". I think that says all.

I still cannot believe Malaga let two goals in in extra time..

Do Brits refer to time added as extra time? I have always called it "injury time" or "time added" with the term "extra time" being the 30 minute overtime period.

Comment on the recently finished matches below.

On another note, congrats to Bayern they were clearly the better of Juve in both matches. Wow, looked pretty dodgy for Barca there for a while.

So we could see an all La Liga semi and an all Bundesliga semi or a one country final. I would prefer a Spanish semi on one side and German on the other so the final is guaranteed to be more international if you will.

Whelp. Count on a toothless Barcelona team to call on Messi when their bacon is on the line.

PSG got them, and then "oh! time for Messi to suit up and sub on."

Schweinsteiger is amazing. The amount of effort he puts in attack and defense is essential to bayern. He was everywhere in the game yesterday.
