I don't have any experience with EG lasts, but from my research it's similar to the 82 last. I've been recommended to go with my 2030/trubalance sizing (i'm the same size in both) for the 72 last. So for me, I would go with an 8.5UK since I'm an 8.5 in 2030/trubalance. Since you have a narrow foot, perhaps a 10.5UK would work.
Will the Kentmere be available for purchase even if we didn't preorder?

Most of these are pre-orders. I can't recall how many extra pairs we are getting on top of pre-orders. We were hoping to get these this month. But EG has been extremely slow in answering to emails, no clear confirmation yet.

Not wanting to burst your bubble but with that narrow a foot (Alden in C), I don't think a standard width (=UK E) Edward Green will work for you.

Here are some of mine, Alden Barrie Cordovan Tanker in US9D (standard US width afaik), Edward Green Galways 82 in UK9D (= 1 narrow from standard UK E).
Tried EGs in E width and they were too roomy. Going shorter to counter width is the wrong approach IMO. Your feet won't miraculously get shorter and wider. ;) And one can only compensate so much with inserts. You would need an EG D if not C, is my take.

I also have a narrow foot, and the only last from EG that works for me is the 890.

Thank you both. You've saved me $1500. I'm dumb enough to still try it, though. We'll see if I can somehow get my hands on a D width.

As others mentioned, they definitely came out darker than I expected, but I like the color. Actually fills a void in my boot rotation.

Europrep: Thanks for that Glencoe shot. Much better than my indoor shot on G&G thread. They are great despite being a little darker than expected.
