I've seen that too and I was wondering why. You can tell by looking at it that it can't be Kudu.
Yes, well, that said, the Bureau Belfast has been consistently describing it incorrectly as antelope leather for years. I think, at this point, that we are turning this discussion into a thread hijack, though, and should probably stop.

with that E width, we are almost there. What is the current tally?

So are we good for speed hooks then?

We have 6 E. This GMTO a go. It seems a lot of people want speed, I personally prefer blind eyelets and I think NAMOR does too but it's not a sticking point. FYI, I heard someone say their speedhooks fell off their thorpes before. As far as lining is concerned, a couple people want green lining and everyone else is silent so I'm going to leave it open. I'm going to hand this over to @Skoaktiebolaget and let them take care of the rest. Thanks guys.

Going for both kudu and mountain ram thorpe? Bravo. That seems like a lot of overlap to me

lol, I know. I'm kind of debating... I'm not sure how similar or different they are to have both.

Feels to me like in any instance you would wear one you would/could also wear the other. I'm not one to talk as I have plenty of overlap in my collection but I'd probably pass
