Took my Löf & Tung Cole chukkas in Utah calf out for the season. When I got them last year my right foot felt a bit pinched, but it went away with wear. When I took them on again two weeks ago the pinch was worse than when they were new. Wide flat bony feet, sigh... First thought I'd give them away to a buddy, but changed my mind and took them to the cobbler to see if he could stretch them a bit. Voila! Much better! As long as I stick to thin wool socks I'll be fine in these. Great boots! But damn do I wish there were more options on the market for wide-feeted flatfoot oafs like myself.

Any recommendations for sizing when dealing with shearling lining? I was looking at the new Champlain in mahogany. The one shearling boot I have, I had to go up a full size to make it work.

I have the same issue with mine, although mine are in suede rather than calf. My left pinky toe is where it'll pinch and i've been using those wooden shoe stretchers where you twist the middle. It hasn't been the most effective stretch to be honest, no matter how long it's stayed in and twisted to the max.

Would you say the cobbler was able to stretch it up 1 size width?

If have the Clark with shearling lining from two years ago, and I have the same size (7UK) as pretty much all my other shoes.
