Love the slate blue color on the CC collab. You rarely see that, IMO.

I've been weighing the new climbing pants but decided to pass. They are a mashup of Patagonia Stand Up shorts (RIP) and Carhartt doubleknees, with a tie hem from fatigues. Not quite sure that it all works together, especially the rear pockets.
I think they're nearly identical to early Patagonia Stand Up pants, which have double knees and similar back pockets

There was a deep dive on the Nep NY website the other day where they talked about the inspiration behind them. You're right, they are based on the stand up pants you mention.

I picked it up. I think it's pretty cool. The double knee is subtle and still looks cool with the fatigue like pockets. I was hesitant about the back pockets but my workshirts are so long it covers it up anyways

Picked up the climbing pants. Seems like they fit a tag size smaller than normal?

The M I got had a waist of 16-16.5 which is just a tad tight for me

Got the L and fits like the field pants in M
