I buy all my EG pants in size M without checking measurements and my FA pants fit fine. If the waist is a little big I just use the drawstrings.

I think they're nearly identical to early Patagonia Stand Up pants, which have double knees and similar back pocketsLove the slate blue color on the CC collab. You rarely see that, IMO.
I've been weighing the new climbing pants but decided to pass. They are a mashup of Patagonia Stand Up shorts (RIP) and Carhartt doubleknees, with a tie hem from fatigues. Not quite sure that it all works together, especially the rear pockets.
There was a deep dive on the Nep NY website the other day where they talked about the inspiration behind them. You're right, they are based on the stand up pants you mention.I think they're nearly identical to early Patagonia Stand Up pants, which have double knees and similar back pockets

Landsdown jacket from FW11 I believe. Maybe FW12.
interesting; Im a 30 so ordered the XS over Black Friday; still waiting for them to arrive but now curious if they'll be a big snug?Picked up the climbing pants. Seems like they fit a tag size smaller than normal?
The M I got had a waist of 16-16.5 which is just a tad tight for me
Got the L and fits like the field pants in M
