I was going to buy them too but chances are they will still be available next time around for cheaper. I bought some JV shoes from GILT and it was still available the second time around for cheaper so I'm taking a chance and waiting out on it.
Those boots were available at department stores that carried JV shoes.
Which ones? I can't find these shoes anywhere but on gilt.
why not just get a regular chelsea? i'm also looking for laceless shoes, but with the chelsea gore at the side and the laceless, it feels too gimmicky. if the elastic gore wasn't there then i would go for it
I've seen them at Neiman Marcus and Barneys, in-store. They might have been last season so it might be more difficult to find in-store.
yeah, it seems gimmicky but I like the overall look. The distressing, the laceless look and the band on the sides, I just like the overall look.
I guess you're right, everything else looks the same though, from the stitching and overall design.
I think the one from Gilt is also distressed, it's just a darker pic so it's not as noticeable. JV rarely makes shoes that aren't distressed. Again, I could be wrong though and maybe the ones I have tried on were the one from Barneys and not the same one from Gilt.
