Well, without the elastics, the lazyman slipon would be an oxford. It's just about the most formal loafer model available and does not look smart with jeans, but this is small pickings compared to balmoral boots with jeans -- my favourite sight to cringe at. Count me in with the fuddy-duddy crowd.

An idle moment before we lost all the light yesterday afternoon led to this group pic, representative of my favourite shade for shoes. I just can't seem to get enough of anything in the oxblood / burgundy / Bordeaux / whathaveyou range - though additional purchases are becoming harder to justify. Maybe just one Carmina ruby shell....

Anyway, feel free to guess the makers - shouldn't be too hard for this crowd.
