I got this pair for very casual wear: backyard hopping, park idling, short walks. Burgundy crocodile strap sandals with leather soles. The make and material both seem wonderful, but I haven't found much info on this DiStefano. Does anyone know the firm?

Once I walk the soles to pieces, I'll most likely use the gator parts and make naughty bracelets of them.

This thread has become a bit creepy.

Weirder than an antelope trimmed crocodile captoe brogued boot with eelskin shoelaces and a triple sole! In green!

These are lovely. Enough to make me forget my hatred of tassles.

I think it's the wonderful color and visible striation of the soles in combination with the color of the suede that separates these from being 'just another blue loafer'.

:slayer:

You are right of course it is a sort of cobalt blue right?

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
