Totally out there and wonderful but I'd be afraid some ditz would walk all over them on the dance floor.

A few new acquisitions. I used to be totally opposed to the EG 202 last thinking they were a bit too conservative/ blobby. But I found that the narrow fit (C) makes them a little more sleek while keeping the traditional round toe. First two are EG Chelseas on the 202, then Vass austerity wingtip.

Also, by special request - 202 9.5/10C; 202 10/10.5C; 202 9.5/10D; F-last 43

I agree - in these top-down views the 202 comes off as slightly lopsided compared to the F. But I prefer the closer trimmed soles on the EGs.

Paolo Scafora for Gianfranco Ferre 7-eyelets captoe

Voilà ... finally I bought them today (mentioned here in the Scafora thread). I paid about 400 USD, they are currently at 650 USD at Yoox. They look much better in real life, sorry for the poor pictures

Beautiful shoes, lovely colour and last. Very jealous. Scafora does great things when they turn the dial down a little!

Holy Toledo they are a gift at that price...one of the best deals ever hereabouts!

The trees are the best I have ever seen on SF. The sweeping multi stitching on the vamp is reminiscent of the NOS 1950s styles like these ET Wrights you see on eBay and wonderfully finished.

Would it be possible to see a close up of this shoe...from the side? I wouldn't wear it but I admire it immensely.
