I just got a nearly new pair of BB brown captoes from eBay. While they are hardly worn, it seems like at some point that someone rested a cinder block or some other ruthlessly heavy object on the left shoe. There is a web of creasing below the cap line on that shoe that does not reflect normal wear. It does not show so much with a shoe tree inserted but it does show up when I am wearing them. I can live with that.
My problem is that the creased area seems considerably lighter than the balance of the shoe now that I have polished them. Am I stuck with this or is there something I can do?
