Holy cow, that’s truly amazing! Do you sell on your masterpieces as a business?
This particular pair I am going to sell since they don't fit me. They are a size 9, and the belt is a 36. I don't do it as a business but it is more of a hobby that can pay for itself. I buy shoes and belts on ebay usually and fix them up to keep myself, sell or give to friends and family and some resell on ebay. I have listed a few on SF here but have not made any sales through this site. Maybe I should post this pair here.

I've been following your work in this thread and think you do an amazing job at giving shoes new life. I'd also be interested in purchasing something if the size fits. :)

sure, let me know what size and what styles you like and I can show you what I have.

Thank you. Message sent!
Hopefully something comes along that fits. But in the meantime, I'll continue to enjoy the photos you post here. Again, I think your work on vintage shoes is amazing!

This wasn't so much of a color transformation but a significant repair.

Not sure what happened to the original pair...factory mess up or did someone spill bleach on their shoes? I have seen a number of them like that on ebay with similar pale spots which makes me think they must be factory defects.

Thank you much...this has turned into quite a fun hobby. And it helps that it pays for itself and funds my ever increasing personal shoe collection....Wife thinks I'm crazy though.

I hear you. My wife even complains when I purchase a new pair of calf shoes and get down to polishing for the first time. She refers to the smell of Saphir as gross. Sacrilege to my ears!
There are worse smelling hobbies out there. For example, I'd be more understanding about smell complaints if I was into this:
