Second Interview

So I got word that I'm being called back for a second interview for a market research job. I was really lucky coming out of grad school and landed the 2nd or 3rd job that was kind enough to interview me once. This will be the first time on a second interview for the same position.

How should I prepare? What can I look forward to?

As of yet, there's no schedule and I'm not sure how the interview is going to be structured. I've been told by the HR rep that she needs to make an appointment with the Hiring Manager and VP for Sales and Marketing. Is this a good sign?

Try and find out where the interview is. Only time I've ever had a second interview it ended up being a tour of the office. I had help prepping (my professor was former CEO of the company) and told me the tour process was to see how you react to the office. He told me to ask lots of questions and be genuinely facinated with w/e they showed me.

May I ask where this was or why it was so crucial?

If this was like 90% of work places (drab, dull) then Im curious what they expected your reaction to be.

It was for an electricty trading company (they bought/sold electricy on the North America grid). It was a pretty exciting work environment. Pretty much every wall had a projector with something relevant. Every desk and 4-5 computer monitors. Every office had a brilliant view (building was one of the highest in the city, and the office was on the top floor).

I think the purpose of it all was it was a pretty fast pace work environment. My guess was they needed to know you were excited and wanted to be there or you wouldn't be able to keep up.
