not normally an MC poster but i thought you guys might know more about this kind of thing- i love patterned tweeds and recently bought a herringbone tweed coat. fabric and fit are just right but the problem is that anywhere the material comes into contact with my skin its really itchy- i am a bit of a sensitive flower. problem is the collar and the cuffs where the material folds under.
does anyone have a way of dealing with this? so far i have been wearing a cotton or cashmere scarf to prevent collar contact and am toying with the idea of having a tailor sew a band of cotton on the inside of the cuffs which shouldnt be too visible.
any other ideas? thanks!

This shouldn't be a problem if you're wearing a collared long-sleeved shirt. You're not wearing a t-shirt under your tweed jacket, are you?
