So, new to SLP's footwear, but thinking about getting some jodhpurs. What's the sizing advice on these: http://www.ysl.com/us/shop-product/...de_cod44930644op.html#section=men_shoes_boots ?

And would that advice be any different for these (not sure if these are a different season than those above / if sizing varies in any significant way from season to season): https://www.ssense.com/en-ca/men/product/saint-laurent/tan-suede-hedi-boots/1660133 ?

Finally, what do the different names attached to the boots -- Wyatt, Devon, etc. -- designate? These are like different lasts?

Yes. It's the older style one where it says Saint Laurent. For a short period they used basic ykk branded zippers.

Bought these from mientus and they offered a 50 euro refund to repair or get a refund. I think I'll go with the repair, not that difficult to replace the zipper.

Thanks!

Sizing question on the classic black teddy with white leather trim. I hear mixed feedback whether it is cut boxy or cut slim. I would take either a 46 or 48. I'm 6'0 170lbs and am always between these sizes. I can't try it in person so need to order online. Does it run big or small? Thanks

Yeah, it's definitely not cut slim, though it isn't meant to fit that way either. I'm 6'3 and 160lbs, and took a 48, which is my normal size. 46 would have been too short for me. Don't know if I really agree with the advice to size down as a rule, but you could try both. Mr Porter has pretty good measurements usually.

I feel like the house will do fine without him, but as evidenced by Vaccarello's campaign, Hedi's photography is irreplaceable.

I'm also looking for a pair of black raw hem ss16 D01s in size 29 if anyone knows where to find them.

Hi there,
Just looking for clarity on if the jackets that look like the L01 biker jacket but are not labeled L01 and have 2012 on the tag, same year he took over.
We're the 2012 under slimane's guidance, or only the ones that came out in 2013 and have L01w. If the 2012 are slimane's are they really different from his last 2016 collection.
Thanks!

The leather pair is from FW13, so harness placement is different and no center seam on the lateral side. The FW13 is a tad sleeker, and the zipper of course is more substantial. However, the FW16 is still beautiful, the shaft is slim, the harness isn't loose like SS16, and the black suede is such a deep black. They're different enough for me to want to own both.

Good to know that the fw16 suede harness Wyatts are still looking great. Very tempted to start wearing suede. The suede harness Wyatts really helps give an outfit an understated look.
