high jods with the higher strap and wyatts with the wider than SS16 and slimmer than FW15 shaft

Question of preference: Is it more desirable for a higher or lower strap on the jodhpurs?

Ill be surprised if they changed strap height again.. but seems more angled now than last season.. like a middle spot between ss15&ss16

Based on just photos, seems like the new Wyatt 30 Jodhpurs have a higher instep. The slope from toe to shaft curves up "prematurely" compared to older model. That Wyatt 40's slim profile and instep actually was perfect for my foot. Not liking this possible new change, personally. But I can see how those with higher insteps may benefit.

I do see the straps are slightly more angled, which I do favor.. but very hard to tell

I have already bought a pair of the high jods and the instep still have a smooth curve, just that the opening is slightly bigger and the front piece of leather is less angled than last season. They actually look really good that way
I think the change of the jods and wyatt harnesses are both similar where they both have a slightly bigger and a straighter shaft than the past seasons
makes them look good when worn with jeans with no break or cropped

I think they renamed the boot because Hedi is no longer there and that it makes better sense since the last is basically Wyatt with a lower heel.

These are both FW 16 and, as can be seen in their product shot, are completely different.

i think the best jodhpur was the hedi 40 from fw15. i much prefer the slightly higher heel. the cigar color way was nicer too.
