Yeah could be a possibility for him, that or serious alterations. There is something off about the women's shirts on men. I've seen staff in the women's jeans though and they seem to work fine

I topy + add heel taps to all of my SLP boots immediately. I wouldn't say they are poorly made necessarily, but they can be a bit dainty relative to other boots - especially the soles. YMMV. If you spend most of your day on carpet etc. you might not notice. Also, if you drive a lot, you'll get a lot of heel wear on your Santiags especially.

I add half soles to all of mine too. Leather soles don't last five minutes otherwise, and that's the same for all brands across the board. It's even worse if the toe is pointed. Even shoes I only wear for nightlife don't last without half soles added. I leave the heel though until necessary.

Does wet pavement make a difference in wear? I don't really wear my slp boots in the rain but I have a few times.

I haven't picked up the polka dot shirt yet but I plan on it in the next few days. The short sleeve looks nice to me now as well. Anyone have thoughts on the short sleeve shirts this season? The cropped boxy fit gives them a casual look but I like the raw hem on the full sleeve

Salt is the worst offender. Water--just be sure to wipe off your soles as soon as you can.

True and luckily not much of a problem here in the bay area. All things being equal, rough uneven pavement like most of San Francisco etc. isn't ideal for leather soles.

I wear mine in wet weather sometimes, but not on back to back days (same with any of my shoes).

I wore my wyatts yesterday and noticed they were someone soft. Only reason I noticed rain could be a no no. I don't luckily have to deal with too much uneven pavement in the east bay.
