I completely forgot about the melton tielocken, what with the duffle and the great coat this year, but oof, that looks great.

Oh and thanks to you and Paul for your kind words!

This looks great.

You don't see many tielockens in the wild because the maker of them for some reason never makes very many.

And frankly anything would look good with that camera bag (if that's what it is).

That is the fujifilm x100v. I got the leather bag from a HK leatherwork online store. It is indeed very beautiful 🤩

I tried on my cord work trousers today. This image is completely unstaged:

How did the cords work out?
Interested in seeing those on a living, breathing being.
*No disrespect to the SEH mani, he wears them quite well.

I really, really wanted to like them but they were a bit too loose on my thighs - I’m long and skinny and I think I need a slim fit, particularly on the thighs. So I’m regretfully sending them back.

could not a tailor fix this for you?

Perhaps but I find that messing with trouser thighs can be a bit hit and miss, and to take a chance and ruin such beautifully-made trousers would be a shame. As it was, at that price it was the most I'd ever spent on trousers, and adding the cost of a decent tailor's alterations on top would make them very pricey. Lastly, my wife didn't love them!
